On Tuesday we Had a huge day at the Kuranda District State College glass slumping workshop. 22 enthusiastic participants worked steadily all day, with Students from grade 6, grade 12 and every grade in between attending. We looked at a range of glass work that can be found in Kuranda, then produced experimental glass slump moulds in a variety of ways. We produced so much that it will take a couple of weeks to get everything through the kiln - I hope to post some of the results here later. |

This week saw our final session with the class nine and ten group at Candlenut Steiner School. The students now have a great understanding of photographic screen print, and some have managed the whole process themselves. They were an enthusiastic bunch to work with and came up with some great results.
