Last week I joined the staff meeting at the Rudolf Steiner School at Kuranda.  We spent two hours discussing and trying out a range of possibilities for using clay in the classroom.

Each teacher produced something sculptural, appropriate to the level of the students they teach. We looked at a range of approaches to hand building, and a lot of information about clay and what works and what doesn't work in the classroom.

They were a fantastic and creative bunch to work with and some of the sculptural results in our short session were fabulous.

This week saw our final session with the class nine and ten group at Candlenut Steiner School.

The students now have a great understanding of photographic screen print, and some have managed the whole process themselves.

They were an enthusiastic bunch to work with and came up with some great results.

I'm part way through a series of workshops at Candlenut Rudolf Steiner School. Students are making multicolour T-shirt prints through combining hand cut paper stencils and photo-emulsion stencils. The students have worked excellently and we are beginning to see some great results.
