Last week I joined the staff meeting at the Rudolf Steiner School at Kuranda. We spent two hours discussing and trying out a range of possibilities for using clay in the classroom. Each teacher produced something sculptural, appropriate to the level of the students they teach. We looked at a range of approaches to hand building, and a lot of information about clay and what works and what doesn't work in the classroom. They were a fantastic and creative bunch to work with and some of the sculptural results in our short session were fabulous. |

This week saw our final session with the class nine and ten group at Candlenut Steiner School. The students now have a great understanding of photographic screen print, and some have managed the whole process themselves. They were an enthusiastic bunch to work with and came up with some great results. |
